We welcome applications from candidates meeting the following criteria:
Academics & Experience
Excellent academic credentials and strong experience acquired at a top-tier law firm and in-house, ideally in a European or global role.
Qualification & Right to Work
Qualified to practise in England & Wales (or overseas having worked in the UK for at least 2 years) with a current practising certificate (or equivalent). You'll also have the right to work and reside in the UK.
Some of our placements require that the lawyer maintains their own professional indemnity insurance of at least £500,000. This can be procured prior to a placement becoming live and Lexoo can provide a recommendation to our partner provider upon request.
If you meet our requirements we'll invite you to interview either by phone or video conference. This is a great opportunity to find out more about working with Lexoo and for us to understand what roles you're looking for.
If everything goes well then we'll onboard you and welcome you to the network! At this stage we'll ask you to agree to our terms and submit the onboarding documents including details of two professional referees we can contact. We will also run industry-standard background checks.
Once you have been added to our platform we will start notifying you about potential placement opportunities depending on the applicable criteria and your reported expertise. Our systems are designed to match your profile to most suitable work opportunities using a special algorithm we have developed in-house.
If you are happy to be put forward for a role after being notified, we will submit your profile to the client and if they feel you have the requisite experience you will be invited to an interview.
If you are successful with your application and the client wants to hire you, we will send you the details of the upcoming placement, ask you to sign the Terms of Engagement and get you ready to start work. The latter may require having an initial induction with Lexoo and/or the client, some additional screening depending on the client’s industry/regulatory requirements, and getting onboarded to the client’s systems.
If you feel you match our entry requirements please apply to join our Interim Network using the form below or by submitting.
This is an opportunity to find out more about what roles you are interested in and to explain in further detail how we work, discuss your experience.
We'll complete the formalities such as agreeing terms and getting references and also run industry-standard background checks.
4. Work Allocation
We will start notifying you about potential placement opportunities as they come in depending on the applicable criteria and your reported expertise.
If you are successful with your application and the client wants to hire you, we will ask you to sign the Terms of Engagement and get you ready to start work.
